CYLINDER DRY LINERS / SLEEVES:
Manufactured by the " Centrifugal Cast Process" is acknowledged to be the
best method. It possesses the bearing metal qualities that cause skin
healing after abrasion and a structure that is readily wetted by oil and
retains an oil film. Corrosion resistance is further improved by adding
chromium in the metal. In the centrifugal casting process, the molten is
poured into a metal mould or die which is revolving at a high speed. The
centrifugal forces causes the metal to distribute itself evenly around the
die. The resulting casting are of much finer grain and free from blow
holes or porosity. A further important advantage is that the impurities,
being lighter than the iron, are forced centrifugally to the bore surface
from which they are removed by machining.

SECOS DEL CILINDRO: Fabricado por “el proceso del
molde del centrífugo” se reconoce para ser el mejor
método. Posee las calidades del metal del cojinete que
causan la piel curativa después de la abrasión y de una
estructura que sea mojada fácilmente por el aceite y
conserva una película del aceite. La resistencia a la
corrosión es mejorada más a fondo agregando el cromo en
el metal. En el proceso centrífugo del bastidor, el
fundido se vierte en un molde o un dado del metal que
esté girando en una velocidad. Las fuerzas centrífugas
hacen el metal distribuirse uniformemente alrededor del
dado. El bastidor que resulta está de un grano mucho más
fino y libre de los agujeros o de la porosidad del soplo.
Otra ventaja importante es que las impurezas, siendo más
ligeras que el hierro, están forzadas centrífugo a la
superficie del alesaje de la cual son quitadas
trabajando a máquina.
